Elector Donal was very impressed with the service of this regiment during
the last war. He has granted them permission to change the colour of
their uniform from Enteburg's sky blue to the white of
Spurhund-Jungen. They maintain the traditional dark green small clothes of the Spurhund-Jungen infantry regiments.

The regiment is commanded in the field by Colonel Joseph von Eisenlowe, who began his career as an officer in Vorlund service before returning to take up service as a captain with the Electoral Guards before joining the Munchausen-Spurhund-Jungen Grenadier Guards with the rank of Major.

It was at this point that the regiment began to rebuild to full strength following it's exile from it's homeland.

The colonel is an avid hunter and has become good friends with Prince
Louis and often joins him at his hunting lodge in Ganstal. He prefers to hunt for waterfowl, though has been known to stalk deer in the woods near his home in Hahnkante.
In addition the Comte has engaged african drummers for the regimental band, further adding to the regiment's exotic look.
The Comte has taken steps to train his men in small boat operations despite Enteburg being landlocked. In light of this the elector has offered their services to the directors of the Huhnerland und Enteburg India Company to operate as marines upon their ships.
It is with great delight that I can announce the elector has given
order for this neglected site to be updated once more. He has once

The elector has commanded that the first
units to be looked at are the Munchausen-Spurhund-Jungen Grenadier
Guards in their new uniforms and the Comte of Monte Christo's Marines as
well as updates on the forces of the Electorate.
The Elector had decided to reclaim the duchy despite he having returned it to the Good Elector Donal at the time of the Polonian Succession in return for the Good Electors support.

The King of Polonia thought himself safe to act as the Enteburg army was he trapped on the other side of the Alps in Italiaca and he would be able to claim Munchausen-Spurhund-Jungen before they could return.

Fortunately after a succesful campaign in Italiaca the Enteburg army had returned home to winter before returning to Italica again. Once the alarm had been raised General Pz Bernhardt von Habischwald rushed his army to Munchausen-Spurhund-Jungen catching the Munchausen forces unawares outside the town of Zollmen.

<img style="display:block; Nestled in the foothills of the Pangaean Alps Hahnkante controls one of the passes from the empire into Italica which brings significant wealth into the Elector's coffers. The Elector's father built the university of Enteburg famed for its scholars and it’s accurate maps, many of which have been copied and are now supplied to the Imperial Archives.

The Duchy of Munchausen-Spurhund-Jungen, was regained from the Electors of Munchausen some ten years prior during the Polonian crisis in return for the electors support in gaining Munchausen the throne of Polonia. The cause of some friction between the two electors recently as the Elector of Munchhausen believes the correct spelling of Munchausen is with two h’s whilst the Imperial archives and more modern maps spell it with the historical one h as per the Enteburg method. The Spurhund-Jungen side of the Electors family maintain strong links to the Electors court and the ErbPrinz Hugh maintains his palace in the outskirts of the city of Spurhund.

The Principality of Schwansee, these lands came under Enteburg’s control when the last of the Imperial Schwansee family, Duchess Elvira von Schwansee married Elector Humperdink von Enteburg und Spurhund-Jungen. Separated from the rest of Enteburg by the Elector Spiritual’s domain the principality maintains close relations with Huhnerland and trades extensively with them. Prinz Louis was recently gifted with a hunting lodge here by his father in the forest of Dachshund.

The Reichsgravate of Ganstal, the border province between Enteburg and Kopf-Schlager has a turbulent history. A constant thorn is the smuggler trade operating out of Kopf-Schlager’s wooded hills. Ganshügel castle sits guarding the border with Speilenburg and is the site of the Elector's Summer Palace. Prince Deuteronomy maintains a hunting lodge Flussuferhütte on the Rhand River and in the summer flotillas of nobles sail from Hahnkante to stay in Flussuferhütte.Elector Donalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03842861287451056144noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4181412005541753857.post-53055379220674131212010-10-10T21:34:00.000-07:002011-10-20T00:10:03.328-07:00Kaiser Seigfried Cuirassiers "The Grey Wolves"

Duke Seigfried Grauwolf und Kremunster and Elector Donal had been good friends for many years before the death of Emperor Rudolph, the pair would regularly travel across the empire to visit each other.

It was on one of these visits that Elector Donal gave this regiment to the then Duke. They were clothed at the dukes expense in the colours of his house.

The death of Emporer Rudolph without legitimate heir however placed a strain on their friendship. The primary cause was Elector Donal formed the front of a group of electors who resisted Duke Segfried's efforts to place the Archduchess Annabel as Empress.

At the electoral college Elector Donal along with the Electors of Huhnerland, Katerheim and Vandenburg agreed to stand together to prevent a mere woman from being raised to the Imperial throne. In a surprise move the Duke married Archduchess Annabel and presented his own claim to the Imperial crown. He was supported by the Elector Spiritual, the Imperial lands of Vorlund also gave him their support as did the sinister Elector of Kopf-Schlager. The Grand Elector of Munchausen held his own council until the voting began.

Despite previous agreements the four Electors could not come to a consensus once voting began In the first round Duke Seigfried was clearly in front with the Electors of Katerheim and Vandenburg voting for themselves. The Grand Elector threw his not inconsiderable weight behind Duke Seigfried and the voting was at an impass with four votes for Duke Seigfried, rwo for Elector Donal and one each for Katerheim and Vandenburg.

The Elector of Vandenburg backed our Elector Donal in the next round and the Elector Katerheim maintaned his vote for himself, the tally was four to three to one and remained deadlocked until the Elector of Vandenburg withdrew his support from Elector Donal and gave it unto Duke Seigfried.

Whilst Elector Donal was upset that he hadn't gained the Imperial throne, he was glad that his old friend had become the Emperor.

Now the Grey Wolves carry he Emperor's name and fight for Emperor and Elector, indeed this has become their regimental motto.

Elector Donalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03842861287451056144noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4181412005541753857.post-55319878641225768702010-10-10T21:30:00.000-07:002011-10-20T00:10:03.328-07:00Garde du Corps

Defenders of the Electors person the Garde du Corps forms the Electors personal guards.
